Gen Richards is tired of living down to her family's expectation of the helpless blind girl. Resurrecting her high-school bucket list that begins with "kiss a total stranger" seems just the thing until she finds herself in a panty-melting lip lock with her big brother's best friend.

Chance Anderson thrives on adrenaline, but Genny's the one risk he's not willing to take. His recklessness a decade ago landed her in the hospital and ejected him from her life. He's bad for her and everyone knows it-especially her big brother.

Chance reluctantly helps Gen complete her bucket list in order to keep her out of trouble. Running through a freezing fountain, playing spin the bottle while fending off a mad horde of stinging insects, and skinny dipping with homicidal attack swans don't hold a candle to the real danger: falling for the one person he can never have.

I received Chance of a Lifetime for free. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

The Anderson brothers are a strong willed bunch of handsome devils. This delicious novel focuses on the youngest Anderson brother, Chance, and the love of his life, Gen.

Gen Richards has known Chance since she was five-years-old. Chance has always let Gen be herself, not stifling her like her family has. Gen might be blind, but she’s not stupid. She can navigate her world better than most sighted people move through their own. Gen thought Chance left her life a long time ago, but he was just watching from the sidelines.

When Gen moves out of the family home and into her own apartment, her brother asks his old pal Chance to keep an eye on her from afar. When Gen decides to take charge of her life by ticking items off an old bucket list, the first item has her locking lips with Chance.

Chance ends up agreeing to assist Gen in marking off all the items on the list. This sets the story off on a whirlwind adventure of love and lust.

Marissa Clarke continues to light up the pages with her steamy and soulful interludes. Gen’s heightened abilities add a whole new level of intimacy to the story. Clarke makes sounds and touches mean so much more than they did before. She didn’t leave out the laughs this go around either. The banter between our destined couple is laugh out loud hilarious at times.

Chance of a Lifetime puts a twist on romance we can all fall in love with!
